Loft Ideas

Here at Roof Rooms, we are constantly coming up with new loft conversion ideas and design solutions to maximise space function and looks, none of our loft conversions are identical, throughout the design process we work with you the customer to make sure that you get what you want. This is done by sending you drawings via email of what is possible so that if you can have an input before we produce the final drafts.

The owner of the property wanted the space created by a large single dormer but didn't want the look of one large dormer.
The solution was to make it look like two pitched roof dormers by having a central indent tiled in a darker tile to create the illusion that it was two separate dormersNeedless to say, the customer was really happy with their conversion as we had met their needs by coming up with a solution which at the time was unique to Roof Rooms.

We have gone on to do several of these conversions some of which are available to visit to give you an idea of the space created.

Bi-folding cupboard doors can be used to allow the cupboard doors to open when space is limited, and wardrobes can be designed to fit into the lower areas of your conversion.

Wet rooms are becoming more popular and are ideal where a conventional shower tray and cubicle is not an option due to limited headroom.

Easy clean hinges are fitted on all of our windows were possible, this hinge mechanism allows the window to slide across to the middle so that the windows can be cleaned from the inside.

The use of mirrored wardrobe doors creates the feeling of more space in this loft conversion.

This loft conversion was designed with an open plan en-suite, the curved wall allows for some privacy but allows the light from the bathroom window to spill into the bedroom creating the feeling of more space within the bedroom.
